If your employer is sponsoring you, ensure that the Company Sponsorship for CIM Course document is completed with a purchase order and signed by the sponsor.
Fees
Fees or a deposit must be paid before the commencement of a module.
Course places are not guaranteed until payment is received.
The college reserves the right to inform the professional body for non-payment of tuition fees.
Fees are exclusive of professional body registration and examination/assignment fees. Please refer to the Chartered Institute of Marketing for their current fees.
A qualification cannot be awarded if fees are outstanding.
The Australian College of Marketing ('the college') reserves the right to change its fees from time to time. Latest fees are quoted on our website and will be the fees charged at the time of enrolment.
Withdrawal
You must inform the college in writing 10 days after the date of enrolment. A refund of fees paid, less an administration fee of $200, will be issued if the request is received before the module commencement date. If the request is received after the module commencement date, no refund will be issued.
If you fail to notify Australian College of Marketing of your withdrawal request within 10 calendar days of enrolment and before the commencement date, you will be liable to pay the full module fee.
Deferring
If you wish to defer a fully distance-learning module, then this must be made in writing 10 calendar days after commencement of the module.
If you wish to defer a module that includes face-to-face study days, then this must be made in writing 10 calendar days before the first study day.
In both cases, any deferment made after the stated times will result in fees being non-refundable and payable in full.
A fee of $200 for each module will be levied if you wish to defer a module to a later start date.
Retaking a module
Students who fail an assessment, but have completed the required study for the module and wish to retake it are liable for 66% of the full module fee. The decision as to whether you are eligible for this reduced fee is at the discretion of the college.
Students who do not complete the required study for a module and wish to retake it are liable for 100% of the full module fee.
CIM membership
You are responsible for ensuring that you are a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and for registering for the correct examinations/assignments by the appropriate deadline date. The college accepts no liability for students who miss registration deadlines.
Commitment to study
You must make every effort to complete all set course work, to submit draft assignment work, and to submit preparatory work for examinations.
The college reserves the right to decline submission of an assignment deemed below the required standard to pass. The college also reserves the right to prevent a student from sitting an examination if they are inadequately prepared.
